Welcome!
I am a postdoctoral researcher at Koç University and an assistant professor at Adana Science and Technology University. My research focuses on international and comparative political economy, public opinion, and political behavior. I am particularly interested in how globalization and the backlash against it shape domestic politics.
Before joining Adana Science and Technology University, I served as a visiting assistant professor at Northwestern University (2022–2023) and Bucknell University (2021–2022). I earned my Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Delaware in August 2021. My dissertation, titled “Financial Globalization in the Developing World: Crises and Corruption" was advised by Dr. Daniel Kinderman and Dr. Benjamin Bagozzi. My work has been published in Gender, Place and Culture, International Relations, and Journal of International Students among other journals.
On this site, you can find excerpts from my working papers, details about my teaching experience, and my C.V.
